The Hostellerie Les Frenes is ideally located for a stay in the Papal city.
The Hostellerie is just 5 minutes from Avignon's ramparts, the Pope's Palace and the Avignon Bridge. The rooms in the main house, furnished with period family heirloom furniture, are exceptionally well equipped with air conditioning, minibar, cable TV, radio and safe.
Business facilities: Meeting room available, on request, for 10 people. Outdoor activities: After a full day, the magnificent gardens and heated swimming pool (from April 15 to October 31) form an oasis of refreshment.

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 4 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of the first night will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Private parking is possible on site (reservation is needed) and costs EUR 10.00 per day.

From generation to generation, the kitchen of “Le Jardin des Frênes” symbolises the spirit of continuity and tradition of the House. Using only the finest and freshest local ingredients, “Le Jardin des Frênes” offers a tantalizing journey through the best of Provencal cuisine.
Olivier CHARLET took over the kitchen this year with the same spirit in mind.
After a few years discovering the various cuisines in France, Canada, Belgium and Corsica where he was well noted each time in several Cuisine Magazines and Guides like the Gault & Millau, Olivier CHARLET now shares with the guests of Le Jardin des Frênes his different experience together with the traditional Provencal dishes. One can taste a “Light Bavarois of Funnel accompanied with some Bâtonnets of Pancetta (Corsican delicatessen)”
By car: Via A7 motorway, exit Sortie N8 Avignon Sud in the direction of Montfavet. At the Montfavet Church, turn right at the traffic lights. The hotel entrance is 700 metres further on.
Via A9 motorway, exit Avignon. Head in the direction of Avignon and Aix en Provence Marseille. Exit Sortie N8, Avignon Sud. Follow same instructions as above.
By plane: Avignon Airport - 10 minutes. Marseille-Provence Airport - 45 minutes. Nimes Airport - 45 minutes.
By train: The TGV stops in Avignon.
